Lieve is passionate about innovation, healthcare, travelling, culture and business development.
Since October 2010, she coordinates the Contact Point ‘Care Economics’ former Impuls Office Flanders’ Care with the aim to facilitate the cross-fertilization between companies active in the health, care and wellbeing sector and health facilities, care providers, care users and knowledge centres for Flanders but with an international commercial valorisation target.
Lieve worked for 9 years as an occupational therapist in an elderly home and in the meanwhile got her master degree as a working student. After 3 years in the Chamber of Commerce of Limburg she started to work for the Flemish Government as a pedagogical advisor and became business advisor for startups and foreign investors within the province of Limburg.
She is a member of the sector group Healthcare of the Enterprise Europe Network and also a guest lecturer at the Limburg Catholic University College, department of Business Administration.
She’s a board member at the art centre ‘Kunstencentrum Belgie’ in Hasselt.
Lieve holds a master of Science degree in Business Economics: Business Engineer combined with a bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy.
