Linze Rijswijk is an economist. Before working as a senior project manager regional development and innovations at the East Netherlands Development Agency he was a business consultant.
Currently Linze also works for the Food Valley NL organisation in Wageningen. He developed and managed several international innovative cooperation projects, linking producers, industry and retail with research institutes. As a consultant he worked for the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, Wageningen University and Research Centre and for several large and smaller companies.
He has experience in developing and coordinating European projects and is specialised in public private cooperation schemes and clustering in innovation and R&D, especially with a regional context. Linze was chairing the Expert Advisory Group “Regional Aspects of the 7th Framework Programme” for the European Commission.
Currently he works on the operational team of StartLife, where he is responsible for the scouting, intake and coaching of start-ups in the area of food and health in the agrofood sector and works in the board of RedMedTech ventures.
